Film Choice Matters More Than Shade
Most people ask for a shade first, but the film itself decides how the tint performs. Quality films reject heat and ultraviolet light without going dark, which keeps the cabin cooler in July without making the mirrors hard to use at night.
Cheap film is what causes the problems people remember: the purple fade, the bubbling across the back glass, the edges that lift after a couple of winters. We install film that is warranted against all of that.
Installation is done indoors in a clean space. Glass is cleaned and decontaminated, film is cut and heat shrunk to the curve of the glass, and edges are trimmed tight so there is no light gap along the top.
