Outdoor gear has to handle sun, rain, humidity, and cold. We install weather rated speakers and outdoor televisions with the brightness to stay watchable in daylight, plus enclosures and covers where a screen is exposed.
Sound outdoors behaves differently than it does inside. There are no walls to reflect off, so we use more speakers at lower volume instead of two loud ones, spreading coverage across the patio so the conversation at the far end is not shouting over the music.
Landscape speakers can be tucked into beds and along walkways to cover a yard without a speaker ever dominating the view. A buried subwoofer fills in the low end so the system still has weight at a comfortable level.
Everything is wired with direct burial or outdoor rated cable, sealed at every penetration, and tied into the same control you use inside so the patio is just another zone.

Common Questions
We do not recommend it. Indoor sets are not sealed against humidity and insects, and they are usually too dim in daylight. Outdoor rated screens cost more up front and last far longer.
